Vit-Buckle Society 2021: THE FORCE AWAKENS (Episode 1)

About the Society:
The Vit-Buckle Society (VBS) is a society of fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeons who are committed to sharing innovative strategies for the surgical management of retinal disorders in an environment that fosters collegiality.
VBS 2021: THE FORCE AWAKENS will consist of two episodes (April 14 and May 20, 2021).
The first episode includes dynamic video-based surgical presentations with audience participation and interactive debates covering controversies in surgical retina. Topics will include pearls for uveitis and trauma surgery, surgical innovations to treat medical retina diseases, debates surrounding secondary IOL techniques, and a special session focusing on diversity, equity and inclusion in retina.
The course is followed by a symposium entitled “Maximizing the Retinal Surgeon’s Skillset - Handling the Conjunctiva” sponsored by Genentech (9:30-10:30 PM ET).
