Foundation Grants and Awards

The Foundation of the American Society of Retina Specialists proudly congratulates members who have been recognized for their dedication to advancing retinal health.
These honors are made possible by the generosity of our donors—retina specialists, industry partners, and grateful patients—who are investing in the future of our profession through support for education, research, and innovation.
M. Gilbert Grand ASRS Vitreoretinal Fellowship Award

This perpetual award made possible through the generosity of ASRS member retina specialist M. Gilbert Grand, MD, his family, former retina fellows, colleagues, and patients, aims to expand access to retina fellowship training.
It provides financial support to second-year vitreoretinal fellows, helping ease the financial burden of training and encouraging a future culture of giving back.
