Diabetic Tractional Retinal Detachment Repair and ILM Peel

A 56-year-old long standing diabetic presented with count fingers vision and a tractional retinal detachment to the right eye. This video demonstrates technique for repairing the detachment and also peeling of the internal limiting membrane to prevent future epimacular membrane proliferation. The patient had a succesful outcome with her vision improving to 20/40 a month after the surgery.
