Clinical Trials Workshop: An optional, one-day workshop designed for new retina clinical trial principal investigators, study coordinators and practice administrators providing key information to develop and build a successful clinical trial program for retina practices. Keeping with the theme of the BOR, the workshop will focus on the administrative, operational, financial, and regulatory elements of a clinical trial program for those interested in starting a program or who seek to improve the efficiency and profitability of an existing program.

Hear from experienced researchers, administrators and industry on a variety of topics, including:

  • Starting a research program from scratch
  • Deep dives into key research elements: Principal investigators, trial coordinators, the reading center, IRBs, and more
  • Budgeting, marketing, and recruiting patients
