Description
The Fellows’ Forum is an educational and social experience that we hope will be a valued part of the fellowship experience for years to come. It is scheduled so it does not conflict with major holidays or major ophthalmology meetings.
Goals of the meeting
• Provide an intensive review of current vitreoretinal treatments
• Allow fellows to meet/interact with peers
• Encourage research
• Introduce fellows to industry
The format is informal, with lectures, case presentations and panel discussions led by a voluntary faculty of members of the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS). Fellows are encouraged to actively participate in the discussion.
Who May Attend?
Only North American vitreoretinal fellows in their final year of training in a traditional 2 year surgical retina fellowship program are invited. Fellows may attend the meeting only once. Spouses/guests are not invited to attend the meeting or social events in order to maximize the opportunity for fellows to interact with each other and with the faculty. Attendance is limited to the first 80 registrants.
