Description
This two-day 12th Annual Duke Retina Fellows Advanced Vitreous Surgery (fAVS) Course is for all North American vitreoretinal surgical, medical retina, uveitis, and some international fellows.? Duke fAVS is geared towards first-year fellows who are transitioning into their second year of training.
Extensive educational content includes medical and surgical panel discussions, surgical videos tricks and tips, and the unparalleled wet lab experience with access to some of the latest technology and cutting-edge procedures with one-on-one faculty/fellow interaction.
This fellow-dedicated program will highlight techniques and concepts that fellows need as they transition into their future careers.
Free registration, travel stipend, and shared lodging is available to first-year surgical retina fellows, medical retina fellows, uveitis fellows and a limited number of international retina fellows that have not attended fAVS before. Fellows that have previously attended are welcome to attend again for a nominal fee.
