Event Description:
This course will focus on the advances in diagnosis and management of a wide spectrum of pediatric retinal diseases to improve outcomes and minimize complications. It will feature talks, intraoperative videos, and case presentations addressing diagnostic and surgical challenges, imaging, new therapeutics, surgical tools and techniques, complications, outcomes after treatment, telemedicine, and artificial intelligence.
This course is designed specifically for the pediatric retinal specialist, retinal specialist, and pediatric ophthalmologist. Other members of the pediatric eye care team including optometrists, orthoptists, geneticists and genetic counselors, research coordinators, and imagers, will also find this course useful.
At the end of the course, attendees will have better understanding of current management options for pediatric retinal diseases.
