Melissa Yuan, MDMelissa Yuan, MD, grew up in Sharon, Massachusetts and graduated from Harvard University with high honors in neurobiology. She attended medical school at Weill Cornell, where she was awarded the Edward Norton Prize in Ophthalmology. Melissa completed her ophthalmology residency at Mass Eye and Ear / Harvard Ophthalmology, during which she was an active member in the American Society of Ophthalmic Trauma, the Women in Retina mentorship program, and Women in Ophthalmology. She is a rising first-year vitreoretinal surgery fellow at Stanford University / Byers Eye. |

Yuxi Zheng, MDYuxi Zheng, MD grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She received her Doctor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University on a full merit scholarship, where she was also elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Yuxi completed her ophthalmology residency at Duke Eye Center and served as co-chief resident her final year. She is currently a second-year vitreoretinal surgery fellow at the Duke Eye Center. |
