History of Retina
The Foundation of the American Society of Retina Specialists is pleased to be establishing the definitive History of Retina to preserve and share the specialty's rich history and hertitage with generations to come.
This ambitious multi-year project will include a dynamic website featuring an historical timeline charting retina's evolution, interviews with leaders and legends in the field, a gallery of historically significant retina images and artifacts and a traveling Annual Meeting museum exhibit.
ASRS invites members who are interested in donating historically significant artifacts or images to send a description and image of the item(s) to firstname.lastname@example.org for consideration by the ASRS History of Retina Artifacts Review Committee. Examples of donations include historically important retina texts, instruments, devices, images and other items that help telling retina’s story.
