Fellowship Directors Section Chair

Adrienne W. Scott, MD, FASRS

Adrienne W. Scott, MD, FASRS, is an associate professor of ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is a vitreoretinal surgeon, and is the immediate past director of the Wilmer Retinal Fellowship training program. Dr. Scott's areas of research interest include sickle cell retinopathy, retinal imaging, and disparities in eye health. Her leadership positions include her roles as the Medical Director of the Wilmer Bel Air satellite clinic and ambulatory surgery center.

Dr. Scott is a member of the Macula Society, the Retina Society, the American Society of Retinal Specialists (ASRS), the Association for Research and Vision in Ophthalmology (ARVO), and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO). She received her medical degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine, and went on to complete both ophthalmology residency and fellowship at the Duke University Eye Center prior to her joining the Wilmer faculty.
