Biography
Dr. Brendan Girschek, MD, FRCS(C), FACS, is a highly accomplished vitreoretinal surgeon with more than 15 years of dedicated experience in private medical and surgical retina practice. Board certified in both the United States and Canada, he is widely recognized for his refined surgical expertise and commitment to delivering advanced, patient-centered care.
Dr. Girschek specializes in the management of complex retinal conditions, including retinal detachments, macular holes and epiretinal membranes, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. He also provides comprehensive care for challenging medical and surgical uveitis cases, offering a depth of expertise that is rare in the region.
As the only full-time retina surgeon serving northern Arizona, Dr. Girschek is proud to deliver high-level, accessible care to the region’s diverse population. His primary office and surgical center are located in Flagstaff, Arizona, with additional satellite clinics providing both clinical and surgical services in Show Low and Cottonwood.
