Biography
Dr. Charbel Wahab earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with Honors and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Balamand, Lebanon. He completed his General Surgery internship and Ophthalmology residency at Saint George University Medical Center in Beirut, Lebanon.
Dr. Wahab completed advanced training in retinal diseases through fellowships in Medical Retina at the American University of Beirut, Medical Retina and Uveitis at the University of Toronto, and Surgical Retina at the University of Manitoba, Canada.
Currently, Dr. Wahab is a Vitreoretinal Surgeon and Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Manitoba. His clinical and academic work focuses on vitreoretinal diseases and surgery, with a strong commitment to advancing research and innovation in ophthalmology. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications, presented at national and international meetings, and actively contributes to educational, committee, and community initiatives.
