November 12th Webinar: Complications Encountered During Retinal Surgery

The Fellowship Directors Education and Training Committee will host a webinar, Complications in Retinal Surgery, on November 12th at 7 PM CT.  

Moderator: Talia Kaden, MD

Panelists: Mark Breazzano, MD, FACS; Alexander Melamud, MD, MA; Steven Ness, MD and Yoshihiro Yonekawa, MD, FASRS

Fellow members are encouraged to submit interesting video cases by October 29 (see guidelines below).

All submissions will be reviewed and 4 videos will be chosen to be discussed and reviewed. Submit your video and PowerPoint detailing the case directly to stacy.kiff@asrs.org via www.wetransfer.com (free file share; no setup required). Selected presenters will be asked to submit financial disclosures prior to the event.

Video Guidelines

Must:

  • be edited so that it demonstrates the relevant key points of the surgery
  • be of adequate image quality to be viewed on a computer screen
  • include the clinical history and relevant exam

Must not:

  • include any patient identifiers and follow HIPPA guidelines with patient permission when required
  • exceed 5 minutes duration
