MIPS 2023 Payment Adjustment Information Now Available
CMS has released 2021 MIPS performance scores, which impact 2023 payment adjustments. If you participated in MIPS in 2021, log-in to the CMS QPP portal to learn your score and payment adjustments. As a reminder, CMS granted broad hardship exemptions in 2021 as part of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Because the program is budget-neutral and the exemptions prevented penalties, bonus payment levels in 2023 may be limited.
