ASRS and AAO Ask CMS to Fix Edits for Dual Wet and Dry AMD Treatments
ASRS and AAO collaborated on letters to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) to seek clarity regarding denials for the administration of complement factor inhibitor and anti-VEGFs given in a short time frame. More importantly, we asked that CMS instruct the MACs to reverse claim denials for these claims. We will keep members informed of the responses we receive.
