Change Cyberattack Update: AMA Launches Physician Survey, HHS Compiles Payer Resources
Following the cyberattack last month on Change Healthcare, the AMA has launched a new survey to assess the current level of workflow disruptions and financial impact on practices. All physicians are encouraged to respond to this short, 11-question survey. Please complete the survey by Friday, March 29.
In addition, the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has compiled a resource document to help physicians locate information about assistance from private payers. HHS released this after hearing from physicians that it was difficult to access individual payers’ information about financial assistance they were offering in response to the attack. ASRS will continue to provide members with additional information and resources as they become available.
