This meeting is open to all North-American vitreoretinal fellows in their final year of training and, since the inception of the Retina Fellows Forum, over 1,300 vitreoretinal fellows have attended.
Meeting registration fees, meeting meals and shared lodging will be covered and each fellow will be reimbursed up to $400 in travel expenses.
The Retina Fellows Forum provides an opportunity for senior vitreoretinal fellows to gather in a collegial environment to discuss the medical and surgical issues frequently encountered in clinical practice, practice management tips, and career issues in an intense but friendly atmosphere. A combination of didactic lectures, interactive case presentations and panel discussions facilitate active participation between course faculty and fellows. The organizers and other members of the faculty are comprised of members of the American Society of Retina Specialists.
Fellows are encouraged to submit a research paper manuscript for the Retina Fellows Forum Research Award. This award is for the best original research paper by a fellow. The winner is recognized at the closing banquet, and will be invited to present his or her paper at the 2021 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Retina Specialists .
