Biography
Dr. Jason Fan is currently Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Duke University School of Medicine. He completed his MD-PhD/MSTP training at Columbia University followed by residency, vitreoretinal surgical fellowship, and chief residency at the University of Miami Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He is a recipient of the Heed Award, Ronald G. Michels Fellowship Award, and is an Alpha Omega Alpha Fellow. He currently leads an independent program in vitreous biology and ocular immunology defining how the resident immune compartment of the vitreous governs the eye's response to intravitreal therapeutics and inflammatory disease.
