DESCRIPTION:This jam-packed one-day 9th Annual Duke Retina Fellows Advanced
  Vitreous Surgery (fAVS) Course is for all North American vitreoretinal su
 rgical\, medical retina\, uveitis\, and some international fellows.  Duke 
 fAVS is geared towards first-year fellows who are transitioning into their
  second year of training.\nExtensive educational content includes medical 
 and surgical panel discussions\, surgical videos tricks and tips\, and the
  unparalleled wet lab experience with access to some of the latest technol
 ogy and cutting-edge procedures with one-on-one faculty/fellow interaction
 .\nThis fellow-dedicated program will highlight techniques and concepts th
 at fellows need as they transition into their future careers. \nFree regis
 tration\, travel stipend\, and shared lodging is available to first-year s
 urgical retina fellows\, medical retina fellows\, uveitis fellows and a li
 mited number of international retina fellows that have not attended fAVS b
 efore. Fellows that have previously attended are welcome to attend again f
 or a nominal fee.\nThe fAVS course is immediately followed by the biennial
  22nd Duke Advanced Vitreous Surgery (AVS) Course and first-time fAVS atte
