DESCRIPTION:About the Society:\nThe International Retinal Imaging Society w
 as created to facilitate the advancement of knowledge and science and inno
 vation in the field of retinal imaging by integrating basic science\, clin
 ical medicine\, and industry\, and will aim to provide an infrastructure a
 nd platform to coordinate collaboration and exchange by those interested i
 n retinal imaging. \nEvent Description: \nThe International Retinal Imagin
 g Symposium (IntRIS) 2021 is the annual scientific meeting for the Interna
 tional Retinal Imaging Society and will feature an entirely virtual format
  this year. Over 50 abstracts were submitted by IntRIS members and the 202
 1 program will include a diverse spectrum of scientific talks on the newes
 t innovations in retinal imaging. The dynamic program will feature session
 s on artificial intelligence\, technological innovations\, and pathoanatom
 ical breakthroughs. Various novel imaging systems will be covered includin
 g en face and peripheral OCT\, OCT angiography\, confocal resonance imagin
 g\, quantitative autofluorescence\, and fluorescence lifetime imaging.\nWe
  are also very excited to present both the 2020 and 2021 recipients of the
  Lawrence A Yannuzzi award for significant scientific accomplishments in t
 he field of retinal imaging. Both recipients will deliver a lectureship in
  recognition of this distinguished award. \nParticipants and registrants f
 or the IntRIS 2021 program will learn about the newest retinal imaging tec
 hnologies and will gain knowledge and insight in the application of these 
 advanced systems and in the interpretation of novel and challenging imagin
 g findings in a wide spectrum of retinal diseases including non-neovascula
 r and neovascular age related macular degeneration and retinal vascular di
 sorders and many other retinal conditions. This will help our participants
  better manage their patients with macular and retinal disorders and achie
 ve better patient outcomes in their practices. \nWe welcome your participa
 tion at IntRIS 2021 which promises to provide insight and understanding in
  retinal imaging and showcase the integral importance of innovative retina
 l imaging in the evaluation and management of retinal disease. \nIntRIS Bo
