DESCRIPTION:Our very popular annual ASRS Women in Retina Section (WinR) eve
 nt at ARVO is going virtual this year! The event will feature WinR members
  presenting their ARVO research papers and posters\, provide an opportunit
 y to be mentored and mentor on research and presentation\, and a forum to 
 network.\nSpeakers will have 5 minutes to present their best work in order
  to compete for the Mina Chung WinR Research Award -- a $2000 grant to att
 end the ASRS 2021 Annual Meeting in San Antonio\, Texas.\nAbstracts for pr
 esentation should be 250 words or less and include title\, purpose\, metho
 ds\, results\, conclusion\, co-authors (if applicable)\, figures or tables
 . A panel of experts will pick the top abstract submissions to be presente
 d at this event and compete for the prize. The panel will discuss the pape
 rs and give advice on the research projects and presentations as part of W
 inR mentoring.\nAbstract submission is open to WinR members who have been 
 in practice for 3 years or less and those still in training. If you are in
 terested in presenting your research\, please send your abstract to Sam Ze
 rang no later than April 5.\nIf you are not planning on presenting\, you a
 re still welcome to join us for the event\, which is complimentary and ope
 n to all WinR members. Please RSVP by April 9 to Sam Zerang.
