DESCRIPTION:The two-day 24th Duke Advanced Vitreous Surgery (AVS) Course\, 
 founded by Dr. Robert Machemer\, is a biennial meeting open to all retina 
 specialists around the world.\nThe AVS course will showcase the latest in 
 cutting-edge vitreoretinal surgical techniques\, use of novel instrumentat
 ion and intraoperative visualization technology\, as well as strategies to
  approach the most challenging surgical cases. The main course comprises o

 e Duke AVS course is the 13th Annual Duke Retina Fellows Advanced Vitreous
  Surgery (fAVS) Course. This course is for all North American vitreoretina
