ASRS Announces Virtual 2020 Annual Meeting

Dear Colleague,

As public health safety concerns related to COVID-19 continue, the ASRS Board of Directors has concluded that the 2020 ASRS Annual Meeting, scheduled July 24-28 in Seattle, Washington, cannot occur in person as planned.

Knowing that the most important developments in retina are presented at our Annual Meeting, we plan to deliver the latest research to the global community using a virtual format that respects the contributions of the authors. Since many of you have already blocked out your schedules, the live streaming portion of this event will start the evening of Friday, July 24 and end the afternoon of Sunday, July 26. Please mark your calendars.

We will be sending more program details in the coming week. If you are a contributor to the scientific portion of the meeting, you will be receiving an email shortly with more details about your submission.

In the meantime, please be sure to cancel your hotel and transportation reservations, as needed. We will begin processing refunds to all current registrants this week.

Thank you for your patience and support as we go through the complex process of cancelling this live event and creating a virtual offering in unprecedented circumstances.
