Plan to attend the Fellow-in-Training Section's luncheon symposium. This year's program is entitled Real World Retina: Mapping a Successful Career Path. The course will introduce the participant to a panel of experts who will discuss such topics as "academics vs. private practice," "how to network and interview" and "understanding contracts and negotiations." This will be a very interactive discussion with the audience by use of social media and their smart phones. If you attend, please bring your smartphone, although not required to participate, it is highly encouraged. The luncheon is open to all FIT members. 

Blindfold Challenge Race

The Foundation of the American Society of Retina Specialists and the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (MABVI) invite you to take the Blindfold Challenge at the 2017 Annual Meeting in Boston.

This unique partner event is technically a race, but more important than whether you win or lose is what you will gain by challenging yourself to experience the world as your patients do.

All participants must register individually in advance.You will be asked to list the name of your partner on the registration form. If you're in need of a partner, please indicate that on the registration form and we will try to pair you with another participant. Your $30 race fee will directly benefit the important work of MABVI and the Foundation of the ASRS.
