You are cordially invited to attend Retina Congress 2009 New York, a combined meeting of the American Society of Retina Specialists, The Macula Society, and The Retina Society. The Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers will host Retina Congress 2009 from Wednesday, September 30 through Sunday, October 4, 2009. This event celebrates the 27th Annual Meeting of the ASRS, the 32nd Annual Meeting of The Macula Society, and the 42nd Annual Meeting of The Retina Society. Retina Congress 2009 will offer the most comprehensive and stimulating array of vitreoretinal information and technology ever assembled, combined with an outstanding social program in vibrant New York.
The combined program
Retina Congress 2009 combines the strengths and experience of all three societies to create a program that incorporates outstanding features and traditions of each. This exciting program features scientific papers with Q&A sessions, scientific posters with lively author interaction, panel discussions on controversial issues and techniques, retinal imaging and surgery conferences, award lectures, and a film festival. Plus, technical exhibits from the world’s top vitreoretinal companies will be on display, giving participants access to the latest products, innovations and expertise.
Members only
Because of the size and scope of Retina Congress 2009, the meeting is limited to individuals with membership in at least one of the sponsoring societies. Non-member physicians may not attend. If you wish to attend, but are not a member, please contact any of the societies to apply for membership. In particular, the ASRS membership process is available within a time frame that permits attendance and full participation at the meeting. Attendance by Fellows also requires an official membership, which is easily available through the ASRS. We encourage all individuals who wish to begin applications to do so promptly, in order to enjoy full participation at Retina Congress 2009.
