It is with great pleasure and anticipation that I invite you to join us for the 25th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Retina Specialists to be held December 1 - 5, 2007 in the Palm Springs area, city of Indian Wells, California. This "Silver Anniversary Event" promises to be a very special meeting of our society as we come full-circle from the very first Vitreous Society meeting, also held in the Palm Springs area in 1983.
The opulent enclave of the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort and Spa will play host to our 25th anniversary meeting this year: the place to be for the very latest in vitreoretinal developments, trials, research, and clinical updates, as well as for cutting edge technology, pharmacology and equipment, and our traditionally outstanding emphasis on a lively and interactive program.
Our goal is to provide the best possible combination of resources for retina specialists interested in “one stop shopping” when they take time away from their busy practices. The ASRS meetings are known not only for the fabulous venues and opportunities for collegial interactions, but also for providing the most and latest clinically relevant information. We will incorporate all of the popular features and traditions. Scientific papers, scientific posters, panel discussions on controversial issues and techniques, a fluorescein angiography and surgical case conference, award lectures, and the film festival are included in the program. In addition, technical exhibits from the highest impact companies in our field will offer participants complete access to the latest products and specialized expertise.
