Cannes, jewel in the crown of the "Côte d'Azur" is a focal point for festivals throughout the world and a cultural melting pot with a reputation for glamour. You'll fall in love with this vibrant, colorful town and its peaceful way of life. Cannes is like paradise, life at its very best.

La Croisette, Cannes' famous seafront boulevard, is lined with beautiful beaches, boutiques and restaurants.

Le Suquet, Cannes' old city, is a treasure trove of marvelous little restaurants. The Rue d'Antibes, a block away, is a shopper's paradise.

Cannes is the cultural cradle of this picturesque region where the past has been preserved. Travel 6 km and discover the capital of pottery "Vallauris," where Picasso, Cocteau and Jean Marais made their mark.

From the old town of Mougins, enjoy breathtaking views, and visit its many art galleries and an impressive collection of Picasso prints. Grasse, the perfume capital of the world is nearby, as is Biot, renowned for its glass. About 20 km away is St. Paul de Vence, with its narrow streets and ramparts.

In nearby Antibes are fortifications, a Picasso museum and a maritime park. Travel about an hour by car to the majestic mountains or discover the extravagance of one of the last principalities on earth and one of the most famous, Monaco.
