Residency in Ophthalmology at Universidade Federal do Paraná (1998) Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases at Universidade Federal do Paraná and Hospital de Olhos do Paraná (1999). Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases at Johns Hokins University, Wilmer Eye Institute (2001). PhD in Clinical Medicine from Universidade Federal de São Paulo (2004). Habilitation - Livre-Docencia in Ophthalmology - Universidade Federal de São Paulo. Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology, Vitreoretinal Surgery, Universidade Federal de São Paulo. Associate Secretary of Portuguease Language, Panamerican Association of Ophthamology. Secretary , Brazilian Vitreoretinal Society and Panamerican Vitreoretinal Society.
