ASRS International Committee

The ASRS International Affairs Committee’s purpose is to serve as the international link between the ASRS and international societies across the globe. The committee’s structure includes five liaison leaders, each representing one of five designated regions of the world: Africa/Middle East, Asia/Pacific, Europe, Americas, and Continental Societies/ORBIS.

Goals

  • Communication: To improve the education of retina specialists world-wide, leading to better eye care for patients. This may be achieved by establishing a forum that enables retina societies from around the world and their members to communicate with each other and with the ASRS and its members.
  • Education: To improve education by sharing knowledge world-wide.
  • Philanthropy: To identify areas in need of education around the world and find ways to address this need.

The ASRS International Committee is in the early stages of development. Detailed information on the committee will be posted when available.

Corporate Membership Program

Help support our mission: to provide a collegial open forum for education, to advance the understanding and treatment of vitreoretinal diseases, and to enhance the ability of our members to provide the highest quality of patient care.
