Change is the new normal – especially in health care. Legislative and regulatory initiatives continue to create seismic shifts that are impacting every aspect of the practice landscape making the delivery of timely, quality and cost-effective care increasingly complex.
ASRS is a leading advocate and trusted voice on key reimbursement, legislative, regulatory and third party payer issues. The Society works consistently to keep its members abreast of important policy developments while also working with other stakeholders and providing retina-specific perspective and guidance to government agencies in an effort to shape policy that will secure an environment that is conducive to the delivery of quality care.
As part of its overall policy activities, ASRS has successfully mobilized several grassroots campaigns to protect patients’ access to care and to the sight-saving medications they rely on.
